Still a union, no matter what the boss says...

The Trump administration and VA Secretary Doug Collins are trying to bust our unions — because our unions are one of the strongest forces defending the VA’s public health care system.

But we aren't going anywhere. We will not allow billionaires and corporate-backed politicians to undermine Veterans healthcare and benefits so private for-profit insurers can cash in.

Together with our labor movement allies, our veteran allies, and our coworkers we are:

• fighting Trump's union-busting Executive Orders in court, and demanding that Congress pass the Protect America's Workforce Act to restore our collective bargaining rights.

• fighting for a fully funded, fully staffed, expanded VA healthcare system, so we can continue to provide the best care anywhere for Veterans and their families.

• standing up for our rights, protections, and dignity in the workplace.

VA management continues to tell VA workers we are “no longer represented” by our unions and our collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) are “terminated.”

This is misleading and legally inaccurate. We still have a union & we still have rights!

Union stewards are still representing our coworkers, documenting violations (and keeping receipts for future legal accountability), and organizing our coworkers to take collective action.
